SMALL SPACE LIVING

With growing population and increasing price for land, Interior designers will have to find smart solutions to house their clients comfortably in limited space.
This house (existing structure) is intended for a family of 6, including mother and father, three children, and the grandfather. The focus here is on the three children, who live up in the three hexagonal pods.

The space on top of the central hexagon is used efficiently as a rooftop terrace, that can be accessed using stairs that slide in and out of the hexagon wall (as needed). The floor of the rooftop terrace is a window to the lower pod, that can be closed with a wooden shutter for privacy. In this way, all the three children's pods have enough light.

All the pods have a set of wall shelves, a bunk bed with a standard single mattress, a desk and chair, a bar for hanging clothes such as jackets, and a set of drawers to store smaller clothing items or similar.
